This is a place where you can come to find out what is going on in class, assignments, projects, homework, and any activities that we may be doing.
You will also be able to have “discussions” with fellow classmates about novels we are reading, assignments.
I look forward to reading your comments.

I dissagree with this quote. When my sister kicked me because i kicked her she burned part of my shin. It hurt alot, and even though i didn’t think about it it still hurt. Sometimes certain pains are so intense that you can’t think your way out of them.

I do agree with Freak that you can think your way out of pain. Over the summer I almost tore my miniscus at IGC. It hurt alot, but when I didn’t think about the pain and I focused on what i was going to tell my mom it seemed to go away, as if like magic. Also, when I had my tonsels and atnoids removed along with a terbinate reduction the pain was immense. When I didn’t think about my aching nose and throat the pain lessend.

Joel is the one who taught me things about life. He taught me that things happen and we just have to move on. He also taught me to not blame yourself for accidents or blame others. I will not blame any body for anything and I will get over it.

i would choose the story the Marble Champ. The main character is Lupe. She is good and talented at everything exept sports. There are many things to talk about how this story effects my life. First off i play hockey and i’m a smart students and so is lupe. Lupe has won the school spelling bee, straight A student, and winner of the reading contest three years in a row.well she is certainly not so great when it comes to sports or activities. One time she scored on her on goal playing soccer in gym class. But one day her brother told her about marbles and she started to play. She was good so she went and entered into the contest. I entered into a hockey league. She would practice evry day and wouldnt stop. She ended up making in to the playoffs and then into the chamionship. Everyday she would practice and one thing she would do is squeeze an earaser. i practice a lot by joining any clinics i find to learn new things. A couple things that Lupe had to teach me is never give. Try to have a goal you can acheive in life. Practice makes perfect. And have a lot of accompishments so you can look foward to getting rewarded. Also i have been taught to find my purpose in life.

Lupe showed me that if you fail just keep trying and you will find success. As she said in the book ‘her thumb was weaker than a newborn chicks neck”. Even though her thumb hurt. she tried so hard and finale won the championship. Along the way she made new friends. She also taught me never to give up. And to just keep trying.
